It may seem strange to add this to Drinks & Nightlife, but if you're looking to save some $$ and make your own cocktails, PJ's has the largest wine/liquor selection I've seen in NYC and I know people who go out of their way to come here for the discounted prices.

One of the best wine shops in Manhattan. At first glance it looks like nothing special but they have rare treasures hard to find!

Best wine and liquor store in Northern Manhattan. Seriously! People drive from all over to go there. It's like a warehouse.
