Hootananny is a great spot for live world music. You’ll often find top reggae acts playing at this Brixton venue. I’ve caught some brilliant up-and-coming bands, too, like reggae roots act Shanty, or old-school DJs, while playing pool and having a beer. The beer garden is always buzzing, and the venue is usually super-cheap, if not free, to get in.

A great pub with huge outdoor area, huge indoor area, and live music and food. Opens late. Very popular in Summer. Try to arrive before the queues get long.
