Wichita Art Museum has a nice rotation of various artists. Contemporary & historical works from a 7,000-piece permanent collection, & a hands-on area for kids.

One of the Museums on the River and home to an outstanding collection of American art. The new Art Garden surrounds the museum with plantings and pathways highlighting outdoor sculpture. Admission is always free on Saturdays. Be sure to visit the Museum Store and have lunch at the Muse Cafe.

We have a lovely art museum in town with wonderful galleries, a creative area for kids, and a cafe with great food!

It is a straight shot east on Second street If the designated keeper parking lot is full there are many places that have easy access to the walks along the river as well as the Keeper and foot bridge. (If Exploration place lot is open that's a great spot to park. ”
