North Cheyenne Cañon Park

A local favorite, Cheyenne Canyon has a vast variety of hiking and biking trails. The scenery through the mountain is incomparable! Perfect for all ages to go and enjoy.
A must do! You can hike it, drive it, either way it's beautiful. It has several hiking trails on the way up but you can also get to the top and take the dirt road down.
Tons of trails throughout the canon. Our favorites are an easy trail next to a river at the entrance to the cañon called Lower Columbine and one at the very top of the cañon called 7 bridges in a forest of trees and water.
Stop by the Starsmore Nature and Visitor Center to learn more about the many trails and wildlife. One of my favorite trails is Helen Hunt Falls.

“Old elementary school turned into a multi-business space with a brewery, distillery, and restaurant. Much of the building has been left as it was, with murals painted by students and even the original doors!”

“This main Colorado attraction is situated on the side of Cheyenne Mountain and doesn't disappoint. You can feed the giraffes, watch hippos swimming up close and gaze at the two giant grizzlies from above. This zoo is cherished by kids and adults alike. ”
