Telluride is an easy 40 miles from Ridgway, takes about 45 min to get to from the outpost. Here you can enjoy lots of skiing, shops and restaurants. Lots of hiking in the area and beautiful views.

It’s Telluride. It won’t disappoint. **Park by the Market in Mountain Village (free) and ride the free gondola into Telluride (or vice versa).

Just a short 38 mile drive, or take the $1.00 Galloping Goose shuttle to Telluride! Close to bus stops, multiple times per day!

Telluride is about a 45 minute drive and such a fun day trip! Go ride the Gondola (for free!!) and go for a hike up Bear Creek (5-6 miles) get some lunch and come back and soak in the healing waters!
