This is a huge 'barge' moored on the Danube canal. Downstairs is a large pool with basic changing facilities, hop I and you can have a swim in the pool, sunk into the canal! Word of warning, although it was a good 30 degrees, the pool was absolutely freezing - forget ideas of a lazy swim! Upstairs…

Badeschiff A boat in the Donau Canal with a pool on top offers the best way to go swimming in the middle of Vienna. The floating pool is 30 meters long and open until 8.00 pm. Swimmers can also find a cozy spot in the restaurant or at the bar in between dips in the pool, or afterwards.

You can swim in the inner city on the bathing vessel/ called 'Badeschiff', right on the Danube Canal.
