Tiny House Train-Eco stay

Thank you for renting the train as this really helps me. The train runs on solar power, all your water is spring water and is a great example of up cycling and recycling. The tiny house train is located on a 10 acre/4.2 hectare organic blueberry farm and was restored in 2018 and turned into a tiny house in May 2019. There is a cozy log burner plus electric blanket and heat pumps. There is a smart TV Netflix supplied . Wifi is Starlink with laptop friendly kitchen table. Self checkin after 2pm.

Take it easy at our home 8km from UH. Step out to regional park bush tracks & Remutaka cycle trails. Although room for 3 people, extra guests can stay if they bring mattresses. You get the whole house: bedroom. front office, kitchen, bathroom & toilet, upstairs rumpus area. Only a bedroom upstairs will be excluded. French doors flow out to outdoor area that includes private lawn, BBQ, laundry, gardens. Bus stop is a few metres away, with regular buses direct to Upper Hutt train station.

The strawbale studio.

The self catering studio is located behind the main house on a private two hectare section. It’s an open plan strawbale construction with a double bedroom hidden behind sliding wooden shuttered doors. The studio was designed for passive solar heating, with a concrete floor and large double glazed windows in the living space. There are blinds in the bathroom and bedroom, but the living space does not contain any window furnishings as this would defeat the purpose of the passive solar concept.
