My name is Elphaba—daughter of a governor, protective older sister of Nessarose, loyal friend. At Shiz University, I found both magic and loneliness, and in Glinda, a friend who saw beyond my skin. I fought for justice, for the Animals without voices, for a world that feared change. They call me “wicked,” but I know better.
