Idyllic, remote setting - 10 mins drive to Ardmore, 15 to Youghal. Recent high end renovation and extension. We have young kids so the house is set up to be totally family friendly with everything for families and child safety. It is a 18min drive (20km) to the historical town of Lismore. 18 minutes to the Nire Valley where Lake fishing features.

Lighthouse keepers; Home of the year finalist

Welcome to the lighthouse keepers house! We have been voted as one of Ireland’s top 50 places to stay by the Irish Independent #Fab50 ( number 26 :)) We spent two years renovating this 200 year old building. In May 2020, it featured on RTE Home of the year and became a finalist in the top 7 homes in Ireland. Irish lights built all 76 lighthouses & keepers houses in Ireland, and this is the only lighthouse keepers house in a town in Ireland!

A small cottage in the grounds of Kilcannon House, which is only 10 mins from the Waterford Greenway and the newly opened St. Declan's Way. If you need to relax a break in our Cottage would be the best escape. It has a separate entrance and everything you need for a truly comfortable stay, including a electric stove in the living room, fully fitted kitchen, king size bed ( which can also be made up as a twin bed) and en-suite bathroom.
