The Thunderbird Tiny House

The Thunderbird tiny house is located on the Thunderbird Ranch about 13 miles west of Mountainair, New Mexico. We are surrounded by the Cibola National Forest on all four sides. The property is owned by the Wester's and has been in their family for almost a hundred years. We also have other vacation homes for rent so if you want to bring another family we can accommodate that. Perfect for solo or couples and within a few minutes walk to The Bosque trails and Rio Grande River. Bird watch, bike ride, walk along nature trails, or a short driving distance to Old Town/ Downtown Albuquerque. We are centrally located within Albuquerque and are a short driving distance to restaurants, but not within walking distance.

Cozy Farmhouse Camper

Come stay at our 2-acre hobby farm with a wonderful view of the rolling Sandia Mountains. Located about 25 minutes from Albuquerque, it’s a great place to stay outside of the city. Our farm-style camper has all you need for a cozy getaway, including a small kitchen with a mini fridge, Keurig, and microwave. Sleep on the comfy full-sized bed and folding cot bed. Our farm has goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, dogs, cats, and 2 little pigs! Sample our fresh goat milk and eggs by request!

Private Casita at the Desert River Farm

We are located on a 2.75 acre homestead property just south of Albuquerque in a small agricultural community. It is a perfect retreat space for those looking to get away but stay close to amenities. We live in an 1890 adobe home that shares the property with the casita and we have quiet and friendly neighbors. We have a handful of fruit trees, a hoop house where we are growing vegetables, and a wild 1 acre field. The property is fully fenced with private parking right outside the casita.

Little House Among The Trees

My Partner and I offer this 500 sq foot Solar house. It's self contained, secluded, quiet and secure. There are 5 dogs in the Main house but they use a doggie door to come and go. You might see them wandering the property but they have never been in the little house so if you have any allergies this should not be an issue for you. The hens and ducks are fenced on the back of the property. PLEASE --- Send (with words) a Check-In "Time" with your FIRST communication.

A completely private Southwest guest suite (no kitchen) with amazing views, coffee nook, pool, spa, outdoor fireplace and BBQ all on a completely fenced acre. Your 2 story completely private wing with separate entrance includes 2 bedrooms and full bath downstairs. Upstairs is a large open room with fireplace, sofa bed and large deck with views of ABQ below. A sound proof wall separates the private guest suite from the main house with safe parking inside the fenced property.

Our newly renovated backyard is a haven of relaxation, featuring a gazebo, deck, and a play structure for little ones!

The bedroom includes a new queen sized bed and there is a fold out queen sized foam mattress in the living room as well. The dining room table seats four. The back porch is a a little oasis where you can enjoy a quiet moment or meal. Larger groups may book the house next door as well.
