Just minutes from downtown Marion, IL sporting a 7ft tube slide, khaki lap siding exterior and dark wood tone interior, The Brunette is small and mighty with an airy studio feel but packed with all of the necessities of a full sized home. This stay also includes its very own nature trail! Come ready to see lots of wildlife and explore Southern Illinois! Our 2 treehouses are secluded but do share the same property!

The tranquil sound of the water fountain sets the mood for Shady Rest. (removed during winter) Unwind in the therapeutic hot tub. (open all year long) Watch the 12 ft. windmill twirl as it catches the wind. Resident ducks will provide fun entertainment. End the day with a night fire around the fire pit. No matter what the season, Shady Rest “on blue pond” is sure to create an unforgettable experience. Property not suited for small children due to deep pond next to the Airbnb. No pets allowed

Welcome to our renovated 3-bedroom lakefront cottage, where modern style meets quiet comfort. With the 3 bedrooms on the main floor and a spacious living area downstairs, this home offers a unique layout designed for relaxation and fun for the family or friends. Enjoy all the aspects of the lake with kayaks or paddle boards or rent a boat and house it at the private dock. Explore Shawnee National Forest, Ferne Clyffe or the Southern Illinois Wine Trail, all within 20-30 minutes of this home.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Everything you would want or need is there. Washer & Dryer, all cooking needs as well as dishes to include wine glasses and a couple bottles of Christmas Cheer! What a great place to stay while not on a cot at grandmas. Plenty of yard and even a Bocce Ball Court with the balls. Everyone will love the gas fireplace perfect for a cozy cup of eggnog and a throw. WiFi and TV services are excellent. Those Football games will show well.

The Scout Cabin-Carterville, IL

The Scout Cabin was originally part of a group cabins from the early 1900s. Over the years, different owners have made additions and updates, but it still has some of its original structure. Now it is a cozy two bedroom house with an open living and dining area, a bonus area with an additional sleeper loveseat, and a spacious patio. It is centrally located - just one block from the center of Carterville’s downtown - and easily accessible to many Southern Illinois activities and attractions.
