Spend your days reading, fishing, or simply enjoying the view as cows, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks and alpacas wander nearby. Just 5km from historic Morpeth, it’s easy to explore the local cafes and shops, or bring your bikes and ride through the surrounding farmland. In the evenings, make the most of the bar downstairs — light the fire, open a drink, and fire up the BBQ as the sun sets over the paddocks.

The Loft Morpeth

Please note our base rate is for 2 guests with access to 1 bedroom only (upstairs super king bed). The second bedroom (downstairs queen bed) will be locked. If you require 2 bedrooms for 2 people, please adjust the number of guests to 3 adults (selecting infants/children does not open the room as there is no charge for their stay) We are situated directly next door to Morpeth’s historical River Royal pub which offers a quiet atmosphere mid week and a social evening Fri/Sat (closes at 11pm)

GOUIG COTTAGE Nestled in the heart of Morpeth Gouig Cottage has been restored to its former glory. This newly renovated 3-bedroom cottage is only footsteps to the historic Morpeth village and 5 minute drive to the new Maitland Hospital. Browse boutiques, enjoy a coffee in one of the many quaint cafes, relax with a picnic along the banks of the Hunter River, restaurants, wine bar and heritage pubs at your doorstep. Gouig Cottage is only a 30 min drive to Newcastle and 40 min to Pokolbin.

Price listed is for 4 guests. Unique riverside resort set on 6 acres on the Paterson River offering private boat ramp, jetty, cabana and fire pit. Ideally for water skiing, jet skis, fishing, canoeing and paddle boarding. 30 minutes to Vineyards, Beaches and State Forests. Plenty of parking available on site in designated areas. Riverfront pergola for shade next to the jetty. In the advent of unforeseen inclement weather, unfortunately a cancellation may occur due to local flooding.

Newcastle is 30 minutes and Maitland 10 Minutes. Thornton Train Station 5 min drive. It has 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Kitchen, Laundry and Lounge Room, Air Conditioned. Parking is available onsite. Minimum 2 night stay Monday to Friday only. Weekends by negation if needed. Current damage to pool fence.
