An ideal spot from which to plan your excursions: head west to Galway City (23km); or southwest via Kinvara (24km) to the Burren (43km); and then to the Cliffs of Moher (70km). Or, go east to Loughrea (19km) where there's safe summer lake swimming.

The Lodge

Welcome to our luxurious lodge nestled in the West of Ireland where you can relax and unwind in total luxury, enjoy peaceful country walks and yet in 20 minutes you can be in the heart of Galway city where there are numerous restaurants, lively bars and magical street entertainers. Travel time from Shannon and Knock international airports is approximately 1hour. The fantastic Atlantic way is on our door step, with the Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands and Connemara just a short drive away.

Romantic Hideaway - 1850's Schoolhouse

The Old Schoolhouse was built in 1850, and has been beautifully restored. It's got a long and rich history, dating back to the Irish Famine. My dad went to school here, we lived in it as a family growing up and I wanted to share some of the history of the buildng with visitors. It's been updated with fast (150mb) fiber internet, and it's very cozy and warm. We just added a modern, private workspace outside for remote working - fast internet, private, monitors, great for Zoom calls!

Marion's Hideaway

Private 3 room apartment on the Wild Atlantic Way with Galway Bay just 5 mins walk away. At the end of a country lane, it adjoins our home with stylish decor. Consists of a bedroom, bathroom and hallway / dining area with WIFI, private entrance & parking. Nearest towns are Clarinbridge (2.3km), Oranmore (7.6km) & Galway City (19km). Ideally situated for day trips to The Burren, The Aran Islands, Connemara, The Cliffs of Moher & Coole Park (Lady Gregory and Yeats Heritage Trail).

Sycamore Cottage, 2 bedroom cottage beside the sea

Sycamore Cottage is a lovely detached cottage situated in the village of Killeenaran, fifteen miles from Galway. All ground floor the cottage can sleep four people in two double bedrooms one with an en-suite shower room as well as a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen and sitting room with dining area and oil-burning stove. Outside is ample off road parking and a lawned garden with patio and furniture. Ideally a car is necessary when staying at this cottage.
