Crook CottageCrook Cottage is over 100 years old and is a traditional, hand-built, Hebridean stone cottage. The accommodation overlooks Loch Beacravik (a sea loch), so fishing is just stone's throw away; or perhaps a spot of mussel picking in one of the nearby inlets. Wildlife enthusiasts will find themselves spoiled for choice, with otters, seals, oyster catchers, and the occasional bottle-nosed dolphin all on view from the comfort of the cottage windows (bring some binoculars!).
Taigh Iomhair - Shoreside CottageTaigh Iomhair was originally a stone built thatched 'blackhouse'. It first appears on local historical records in 1814, but it is likely it was built in the latter half of the 18th century. The main structure of the house has not changed in over 200 years, but the property was internally refurbished in 2019, including new bathroom, kitchen, flooring and furnishings. The thatched roof was replaced many years ago, but the house still retains a character from a bygone crofting era.
