Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Cabin w/Mountain & Sunset Views One Bedroom & Loft

Cabin/Tiny Home. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

Chestnut Ridge Retreat

Guest love the peace and the views here at our retreat. Enjoy a morning or evening in the hot tub, sun on the pool deck and swim in warm weather. Build a fire and relax in the pavilion by the fireplace or sit around the fire pit. Guests comment that they sleep so well in the room. Walk to property to see the chickens, horse and donkey. Just a great place to just relax! We have added a small chair that converts to a bed (not very comfy) if you are traveling with kids - we can squeeze 3 in.

The space is newly renovated, full of light, and is completely private and quiet - with an extra sleeper sofa. On the second floor. A short walk to the heart of JC or to the ETSU campus. A secluded cabin with access to two private, large waterfalls in the Mountains of Tennessee. Nestled on a cliff, the beautiful nature offer precipitous trails to a swimming area beneath a waterfall. The family home overlooks a 75 foot cascading waterfall. Garden trails follow along the creek and incline. Interior cabin exhibits variety of cultural nostalgia from the local family's home and tradition. We hope you come away with peace, tranquility of God's nature and restorative living water .

Guest cottage on a large, quiet lot in town. Convenient to ETSU, Mountain Home VA, Johnson City Medical Center, and just minutes from downtown Johnson City or Historic Jonesborough. This is a stand-alone tiny house that shares a driveway with my home. The cottage has a full bath with laundry, kitchen, a queen bed in the main bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room. Ample off street parking for bigger vehicles or those pulling a trailer.
