Killough is a quiet, picturesque village which lies on the Irish Sea shore, near Ardglass, 5 miles from Downpatrick. Cara- Na-Mara is a beautiful, recently renovated 2 bedroom cottage overlooking the sea. Suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families. It's close to all area golf courses including Ardglass and Royal County Down. It is on Lecale Way for walkers and cyclists. The house dating from the early 1800's, with a later extension, has living, dining and kitchen area, two bedrooms and bathroom. There are great views across Strangford Lough to the coastal village of Portaferry. Strangford village is a great location near historic houses, castles and the Mourne mountains. It has great restaurants, pubs and perfect for Game of Thrones enthusiasts.

On a high tide the sea can come within a metre or so from the bottom of the garden. Whilst the beach is a public space it is typically only utilized by the residents due to the limited access points along the shore. The perfect setting to enjoy life by the sea and explore the beautiful Ards Peninsula.
