Stunning Knockan Cottage on the Isle of Mull

Knockan is a restored croft house, retaining much of its original character, providing a cosy & comfortable retreat. It stands in its own fenced grounds surrounded by open moorland overlooking the spectacular Ardmeanach peninsula. The cottage is conveniently located just 7 miles away from Fionnphort, the gateway to the iconic Isle of Iona. The Ross of Mull is a paradise for walkers, wildlife watchers, photographers, artists, fishermen and those just simply looking to relax away from it all.

Tigh a Chabar, Savary, (Lochaline, Drimnin)

Opposite the Island of Mull and 40 miles from Fort William we are situated 3 miles west of Lochaline, the cottage is 3 years old and purpose built for holiday lets. The property is located in our own garden but is completely self contained, accommodating up to 4 people. The area of Morvern is a fantastic holiday destination. Whether just for a long weekend or for a full week there is plenty to see and do. It is also a good starting point if you would like to explore more of the West Coast.

Gometra Teacher's Bothy

VERY BASIC REMOTE BEAUTIFUL BUT NOT LUXURIOUS bothy in an idyllic situation 5 mins walk from sea. Bring own bedding and cooking stove. Basic pots crockery cutlery etc provided. Indoor toilet, indoor bath heated by solid fuel stove. Wood can be bought for £13 a bucket and will be left for you to use if you want. Suits kayakers, experienced hillwalkers and island baggers. Please see reviews for more feedback. No Ulva ferry on Saturday, and on Sunday only in June, July & August.

There is ample private parking directly outside the cottage (spaces for two cars with extra parking if required) and you are free to enjoy the fields and open spaces around you.

Ardvergnish Cottage

Ardvergnish Cottage is a stunningly remote place to escape to on the beautiful Isle of Mull. A haven for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers, you only have to step outside the door to see hen harriers, curlews, and sea eagles. The deer go down past the house in the evening to feed on the marsh, joining the otters who live there. It is centrally located for exploring the island in every direction.

See countryfile series17 episode 7 to see the beauty of the landscape around us. The bay is perfect for watersports. The renovation was completed in March 2020 and provides stunning accommodation.
