Lookout State Park, Sotterley Plantation. Great hiking trails, restored colonial village,a replica of the Maryland Dove. Tour a lighthouse. Great restaurants , or spend a day over in Solomons Island, about 20 miles from us. Peaceful settings for relaxing right on the water,or kayak on the river.

Sunny, private 2nd floor suite at the river's edge features panoramic views of the Rappahannock and surrounding farmland. Take in fiery sunsets, sunrises, starry skies, eagles, ospreys and more. Swim, fish, explore waterways by kayak, or bike in tranquil, rural surroundings. Morning coffee on the balcony with the songbirds is a treat, and the riverfront deck, surrounded by trees is sublime. Creek cottage getaway

House address is 520 Paynes Creek rd. Down sandy road house is to the left. Last house on road. Comfortable cottage on Paynes creek going out to Rappahannock River. 1 bedroom with queen sized bed and sofa that folds out to a full sized bed in the living room. House has high speed fiber internet. There is a dock with crab pots to use. Crab season Is May 15 - Nov 15. No crabs outside of those dates. Please do not use boat. It leaks. It's not safe. 7812 River road is laundromat. Use front door.

We have self check in and the host is extremely flexible.. We welcome all tenants! The Birds Nest is a perfect getaway destination for relaxing and fun.

Called the "The Galley". This is the first cabin built on the property. Right on the water with views of the Bay and beach. Galley kitchen, bedroom, small bathroom with shower, family room with a fireplace and dining area. Big screened in porch w/ fabulous breezes. Literally, right on the water!!! NO PETS. Parking for 1 car.

Charming Yorktown Battlefield Cottage

Kick back and relax after a day of touring the historic triangle. This space was originally built as an artists studio for renowned folk artist Nancy Thomas. The amount of natural light is wonderful and there are still some paint remnants from its former days as an artists studio adding to its unique character and history.
