Upside down stone Bothy on Marsden Moor

Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

The Coach House

This is a detached barn that can sleep up to 6 people ,the extra bed is a futon in the upstairs bedroom,bedding is provided.. it has plenty of safe secure parking.. a patio area with seating..it is close to nature and lots of outdoor space. Great for motorbikers too. It has underfloor heating, log burner in the lounge, regular oven fridge freezer, microwave. We have direct access to local bridleways, cycle ways and off road cycling. Lots of moorland directly behind the property for walking.

Cosy cottage -West Pennine Moors

The historic village of Chapeltown is ideal for walking, cycling or just relaxing. A stone’s throw away is the friendly pub, offering great pub food. A 5 minute walk will take you to the Wayoh reservoir and surrounding areas leading to Entwistle and Jumbles Country park. Turton Tower is a short walk away and Bromley Cross train station is 1.5 miles with a direct line to Manchester and Clitheroe. The Lancashire cycle way runs past the doorstep as does as the cycling stage of Ironman uk.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. We would like to welcome you to Calf Hey Cottage. We are situated off the main road set in a quite Hamlet in Denshaw, along side three other Cottages. We have a self contained newly refurbished open plan guest suite with separate entrance. The interior consists of a Kitchen, Bedroom, Lounge & Bathroom area, it has electric heating in the bathroom & a Multi Fuel Burning Stove.
