“Wee Bothy” tarjoaa erinomaisen tukikohdan tutustua koillisrannikkoon, luonnonkauniiseen Angus Glensiin ja läheisiin kaupunkeihin, joissa on kiinnostavia paikkoja ympäriinsä. Merellä/satamakaupungissa Arbroathissa on 5 minuutin ajomatkan päässä paljon ihania kahviloita, ravintoloita, elokuvateattereita ja teattereita. Golfausta, kalastusta, melontaa kallioiden ympärillä ja kävelyä on runsaasti alueella ja sen ympä ympäristössä Carnoustie Golf Links on 15 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. Kaupungissa on bussi- ja rautatieasema niille, jotka haluavat matkustaa kauemmas.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

Tämä kahden makuuhuoneen huoneisto on kauniisti kunnostettu Dollarbegin linnan entinen suuri sali. Vuonna 1890 rakennettu Dollarbegin linna oli viimeinen goottilaistyylinen baroniallinen rakennus, joka koskaan rakennettiin. Se kunnostettiin kauniisti vuonna 2007 korkeimpien standardien mukaisesti, ja siitä tehtiin 10 luksuskiinteistöä, joista yksi on alkuperäisen "Great Hallin" muuntaminen holvikattoineen ja majesteettisine näkymineen virallisilta alueilta Ochil Hillsin suuntaan kaukaisuudessa.

Craigiehallin temppeli (historiallinen rakennettu vuonna 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. We have lovingly converted a 200 year old cartshed into 2 cottages. Braeview Cottage at Braeside Farm is a spacious studio space with a king size bed on the mezzanine floor. Downstairs next to a modern kitchen you have an open area with large french doors to a patio with a great view across the brae. On a farm set in 13 acres and 500 m from the nearest road, you will savour the tranquillity yet it's a 10 to 15 min drive to St Andrews and an hour from Edinburgh Airport. A car is required.

Our cosy cabin sits in a small orchard on our property which is semi-rural and set on the edge of farmland. We are situated at the entry to the beautiful East Neuk of Fife which includes the pretty harbour towns of Anstruther and Crail and is renowned for its many types of crafts. We run a Stitching Studio and Gallery on our premises. St Andrews is only 14 miles away, Dundee 24 miles and Edinburgh 37 miles. There is a main line station at Kirkcaldy which is 9 miles away.
