Knotty pine nearly throughout, whirlpool bathtub, granite countertop, new appliances, washer/dryer. Cookware & dinnerware provided. Outdoor gas grill (& older charcoal) and fire bowl (bring own firewood). WiFi not available & cell service is marginal. There is a queen sz bed downstairs, & a sofa bed (w/sm defect), the loft has a futon that flattens into small double bed, and there are 2 twin beds. No large, loud parties that go on into the night as there are neighbors, including the owners.

Located just 30 minutes from the northwest metro you can avoid all the hectic weekend travel and spend more time on the lake! We do have a fishing/swimming dock but it's not designed for boats. The yard down to the lake is a bit steep and may be challenging for those with mobility issues.

Less than an hour from Minneapolis, the Loondocks is a sun-soaked, pet-friendly hideout on beautiful Big Eagle Lake. Natural stone steps (NOTE: These are uneven, so do not book if you have mobility concerns!) lead down to the bungalow-style house, a stylish bunkhouse, wood-burning sauna, spacious deck with lake views, and flat waterfront yard. Willow Falls is a short walk, and the main entrance is one mile from the front door. The cottage has a unique walk-in shower, luxurious tub, and full kitchen for your own use. The main master bedroom has a queen bed, barnboard walls, large windows, access to back deck & outdoor hottub. Two twin beds in front room sleep 2.

Level yard walks directly to lake and on-site boat launch. Although not handicap accessible, the main floor bedroom/living area and level lot would accommodate someone with limited mobility.
