This modern chalet has its face turned to the south for panoramic views and plenty of sunshine, but also rewards those who look inside with one-of-a-kind artwork. When you’re ready to ski, ask the chauffeur to take you to the slopes 9 kilometers away. In addition to chauffeur service, a holiday at this luxury chalet includes daily housekeeping and chef service. This leaves you to sip a favorite vintage from the wine cellar on the terrace, do a few laps in the indoor swimming pool, release tension in the hot tub or sauna, finally find out whodunit in the library, or cozy up to the fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling windows show off some of the most iconic mountain views in France in the living and dining rooms at this vacation rental, while pale wood beams and paneling put a modern twist on classic chalet style. Mint-green sofas and tufted dining chairs invite you to get comfortable. And while chef service is part of your stay, there is a fully equipped kitchen should your friends or family get hungry. Chalet on the rocks

The French Alps get a sleek frame of contemporary architecture at Chalet on the Rocks. Perched in the forest above Chamonix, this beautifully designed vacation rental commands breathtaking views of Mont-Blanc, the Aiguille du Midi and the Glacier des Bossons. Even better, its location puts you within walking distance of the center of Chamonix and just a short drive from some of the area’s best skiing. Your holiday at this luxury chalet includes daily breakfast and housekeeping.
