Adirondacks Garnet Hill: pristine lake, privacy

Winter: Park at ski shop. Ski in/out cabin is ON the trail system. Private, cozy, fully equipped cabin at Garnet Hill in the ADK forest. Gas fireplace, grill and screened in porch. Steps from hiking trailheads. Access (not lakefront) to protected 13th Lake with sandy beach. Two one-seat kayaks come with the rental. Mountain biking (cabin is on the trails), white water rafting, and tubing nearby. Please note: this is a NOT a hotel/condo or business Airbnb. it has been in our family for 30 years!

The River Cabin

The River Cabin is a simple but beautiful original log home that has a gorgeous view of Schroon River and Schroon Falls. It is privately located on a quiet lot but also only 200 feet off of Route 9. This cabin was built in 1977, by our family. It has access to a private swimming hole where you can kayak, swim, fish or just hang out. This cabin has a full kitchen, living room with propane fire place, 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The basement has a unique game room with poker table and bar.

Quaint Cabin in Schroon

This quaint, rustic, one room log cabin was originally built for overflow family during the summer by my father. The cedar logs were cut from our property giving it a truly authentic Adirondack feel. The cabin sleeps 1-3 people. It's located on a large, beautiful piece of property with two main houses, a barn and garage. You are within walking distance to our private swimming hole and beach. There is a horse arena nearby. This is a great location for many attractions in the Adirondacks.

Sweet cabin modest in scale, simple and pure to not detract from the richness of the views, offering a fresh, invigorating sense of just what is needed, nothing more. The rugged primitive siding was harvested from on-site cedar trees; the knotty pine interior was locally sourced. Friends gifted a claw foot tub and historic farm house sink. Want to feel disconnected? This is our cabin. The cabin is a beautiful country space in between two small ponds. There are various animals described as well as a mountain to hike and kayaks. There are dozens of recommendations on places to go, all you have to do is ask. There isn't electricity, but there is a shower as well as clean drinking water, a stove and grill as well as an out house. It's The True Adirondack Experience.
