Old Hauenstein Brewery - Ground Level 1

Stay in a real brewery built in 1891 where they brewed the Hauenstein beer until 1969. Remodeled in the authentic rustic industrial style of the era, rent the lower level unit with 2 romantic rooms, a parlor, coffee bar and bathroom. The private upper garden has a fire pit, cellar and dining area surrounded by forest and fire-flies. There is No Kitchen. The building is surrounded by an underground creek, so it stays cool naturally. It’s a 7 min walk to Schell’s brewery & 4 min drive downtown.

Kinda like "GLAMPING" but better!Has heat and Air .Unique, corky but a great place to relax and put your feet up in the hammocks inside. Must be able to climb a 6 foot ladder to get to loft to sleep. Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

The home can sleep 8 adults very comfortably, but the nightly pricing is set for two occupants and additional guests are $30 per person. This allows you the option of staying in a fully furnished home at a reasonable rate whether your group is large or small.

The kitchen is a great gathering space with plenty of room for everyone! Family room with 55 inch Roku-ready TV. Four bedrooms with king size beds & 2 bedrooms with 2 queen size beds each. Perfect space for your family to stay and enjoy all that New Ulm has to offer!

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. A cozy and quaint place to unwind and read a book or take a short walk to the historic main street. Enjoy the many parks that New Ulm has to offer including Flandrau State Park as well as Hermann Heights which is home to the towering Hermann Monument offering a spectacular view of the valley. A handcrafted beer can also be tasted at August Schell Brewery which is the oldest brewery in Minnesota.
