There is a fire pitt and charcoal grill as well as full size kitchen appliances. Owner lives on the property, but no shared facilities. This house has star link internet but not guaranteed.

As you descend the stairway into the woods you'll begin to experience the peace of Otium, one of two small shipping containers set into a clearing in the forest. The outdoor living space has lounging seats, chairs, natural gas fire pit, outdoor shower and an outdoor soaking tub! The inside of Otium is designed with the colors and textures of nature, seamlessly blending with the surroundings, but furnished with luxury linens and all the comforts of home! Tucked among pines and rocks in the heart of Amish country, where the occasional clip-clop of horse and buggies adds charm. Styled like a railroad depot, the artistically furnished home displays intricate stonework, tile and custom stained glass. The kitchen includes appliances and cookware, with the outdoor area offering a propane grill. Complimentary firewood is provided for the firepit.

This rustic 2-bedroom cabin is conveniently located on large private pond just outside the city limits of Mt. Vernon with shopping, dining, brewery and entertainment. We are pet friendly (additional $50 per stay, max 2 pets) with all the modern convenience, fully stocked kitchen, 50" flat screen smart TV, washer/dryer and fast internet. Outdoor fireplace/grill is the perfect hangout just steps from deck overlooking the large pond. 4-person paddle boat is there for use during your stay.
