Welcome to my home away from home. The cottage is in a beautiful country setting on a section of the Ottawa River called Chats Lake with paved road access 40 minutes from Ottawa. Wildlife is abundant and the sprawling property has everything you need for a fun filled getaway with the whole family. The stylish furnishings and amenities will have you feeling right at home. Unwind in the hot tub, enjoy a coffee in the cozy screened gazebo or watch the sunset over the west-facing river view.

This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.

We are steps away from activities such as walking, cycling, ATVing, skiing, snowmobiling can on the nearby Algonquin Trail. We are just 30 minutes from world class downhill skiing and whitewater rafting.
