Faiche an Traoin (Faish an Trown) means Field of the Corncrake, birds that once inhabited this area. It was built in 2020, has 2 double bedrooms, large lounge/dining area/kitchen and bathroom with walk in shower. It is located in the village of Dunan, 5 miles from Broadford. The house is directly above the seashore with views to the Island of Scalpay across Loch na Cairidh, the Old man of Storr and to the mountains of the mainland and the wall to ceiling windows highlight the beautiful views

Shepherd's Hut S/C

On the Skye Trail, Shepherd's hut with magnificent views of the Cuillins, and the island of Rum. Nearby boat trips take you to the islands of Rum, Canna and Loch Coruisk. There is a local pod at the pier and café at village hall serving coffees, cakes etc. seafood sandwiches and ice-cream, weather permitting. The Elgol Bistro sells takeaway food, and is a licensed restaurant. Supermarkets, petrol, diesel and numerous restaurants are in nearby Broadford (15 miles)

Breakfast supplies include,eggs,cheese,cereal,fruit,juice,bread,butter,marmalade,tea,locally roasted coffee,milk and oatcakes Please note,google maps is incorrect for the last 100 metres. At bottom of junction turn left (not right as directed) Then first right 30m after Ardcana sign Parking 15 metres down drive on left

With its distinctive red roof and beautifully finished stone walls Hannah’s Cottage is the perfect couple's retreat on the romantic Isle of Skye. The Ridge Pod situated in Elgol on the Strathaird peninsula on the Isle of Skye. Featuring uninterrupted views across Loch Scavaig and the Cuillin mountain range. Located in a small and picturesque farming and fishing village on the south of the island. The Ridge Pod is accommodation only and is self-catered. There is a private balcony with outdoor seating and lights. Please note that The Ridge Pod is situated on a working croft. Unfortunately no dogs are allowed.
