Lone Wolf Lodge is located at the entrance of Big Thicket National Preserve, Woodlands Trail, where you have 14,000 acres to explore. Whether you like to walk, bike, fish or just relax this area can accommodate almost any outdoor activity. We are a short 2.5 mile drive away from the Luckiest Spot in Texas, The Naskila Casino, where you can enjoy endless gaming and delicious food. At our Lone Wolf Cabin you can also enjoy roasting marshmellows over the fire pit or a movie night in the loft. Our cabin provides more than just your average stay at a hotel. Located just 2 hours from Houston, our little lake house retreat is the perfect getaway. Whether you enjoy sitting around the fire with family and friends, hitting the lake for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or just lounging on the large floating water mat, we have you covered. At the end of the day, fire up the Traeger grill or Traeger Flatrock griddle and enjoy dining out on the deck while taking in the amazing views of the lake as the sun goes down. Named The Jim and Charity after my great-great-grandparents who lived here, this space carries warmth, history, and comfort. The Ponderosa

The Ponderosa is relaxing and peaceful for anyone. If you need more space, we have outdoor areas for RVs or tents. This is a great space for gatherings such as: crawfish boils, family reunions, birthdays, a romantic couple getaway or a family escape from everyday life. Come out and enjoy nature and look at the stars at the Ponderosa. Lake Sam Rayburn is 35 min., Steinhagen Reservoir is 10 min. away and Big Thicket National Game preserve is minutes away. Shooting on property needs approval.

Creekside Treehouse A majestic a-frame treehouse set above the pines in East Texas. Enjoy the perfect setting for a restful retreat in the wooded countryside without giving up modern amenities. Inside you'll find a fully equipped kitchen and a charming bathroom. Below the treehouse is another seating area with an outdoor fireplace, a wood-heated hot tub, and a brick bbq pit. This enchanting treehouse sits on an 80-acre woodland farm with a stocked pond and miles of forest trails.

Barndo-Peaceful, sleeps 4, minutes from town!

Take it easy at this unique and cozy barndominium studio minutes away from downtown Silsbee. 100 yards from main house. Relax while swinging on the porch and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning (or wine at night:) Take a hike in the Big Thicket National Preserve, or go canoeing or kayaking down the famous Village Creek (ask us how!) Rooster Tail Resort

Quaint studio guest house located on a private 2 mile lake, ideal for all boating activities including fishing, water skiing or just soaking up the sun. This property is secluded under a shaded canopy of oaks, in a quiet, country setting. A fire pit, BBQ area, swim area and dock, which is fitted with cleats for docking your boat or jet skies, are available for use. Plenty of parking. Pets under 20lbs are allowed with PRE-APPROVAL BEFORE BOOKING ONLY.

Just Chillin by the Lake

Relax and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful private lake with lakefront cabin. Full kitchen, with complimentary coffee and tea, queen bed, private full bathroom. A large, covered porch. Fire pit and charcoal grill are provided as well as a Kayak for your enjoyment. Kayak, fish, or swim or just chill on private pier. Check in 3:00 pm - Check out 11:00 am. If there is anything else you would like, we can try and make it happen. Just ask.

The Longhorn Guest Cabin

This is a newly renovated guest cabin located on a 70 acre ranch with access to walking trails, the Theuvinin creek for fishing and three miles from the start of the National Park Service Turkey Creek trail and the Pitcher Plant Trail. During summer months the park service has night hikes, canoeing, star gazing and free fishing days. Microwave oven available. Cabin accommodates 4 guest with a minimum of a four night stay. Cabin is nonsmoking.

The Farmhouse

Leave the fast-paced internet world behind and enjoy nature at its best at The Farmhouse. Relax on the back porch overlooking our 9 acres of magnificent trees while sipping your morning coffee or playing cards as the evening winds down. Take a walk through the backyard along trails to a swing in the midst of this tranquil forest or be more adventurous and hike into an uncharted area of the Big Thicket bordering our backyard.

“Hunter’s Hut” The Piney-Woods

Welcome to “The Hunters Hut”, a private, cozy tiny space in the Pineywoods of Kountze, Texas, just 5 yards from the main house yet private. Not far from The Big Thicket. Relax on the porch with your favorite beverage, or unwind in your own private hot tub. Build your own private fire for the perfect outdoor evening—the adventure of camping with the comfort of glamping. Spacious for one, cuddly for two.

Arrow Acres Tiny Home - Dolly

We are nestled on 8 acres in the Piney Woods and feature onsite creek fishing and walking trails, as well as a quaint outdoor entertaining space perfect for evening fires and stargazing. We're a short drive from the Big Thicket National Preserve, where you can enjoy hiking, biking, and canoeing, and, if you're feeling lucky, we're just 26 miles from the nearest casino.
