The view from front is spectacular and the rear window view is not bad either! Glenfinnan is the place to be for Harry Potter fans as the Glenfinnan Viaduct (The Harry Potter Bridge) and the Jacobite Steam Train (Hogwarts Express) are both located here. Tom’s House is set in a large leafy garden, a 6 minute walk to Oban town centre. Private and peaceful in the garden of Terok Nor. Red squirrels, woodpeckers and roe deer - with fawn at foot are regular visitors at present. Parking on site is spacious. There is so much to do in the Oban area, ferries, castles, whales, dolphins, puffins, walking, beaches, watching .....great food - exceptional sea food and the oldest distillery in Scotland, wonderful whisky - what more can you ask?

It is a 5 minute walk to the historical site of Inverlochy Castle. The house boasts spectacular views of Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis and the Jacobite Railway track. There is free on the street parking. There is a take-away and bike hire shop in the village of Inverlochy. Supermarkets M&S,Aldi are only a short walk from the house .
