Take a break and unwind at our peaceful oasis in stunning Willamette Valley. Only about an hour from the coast or mountains and five minutes to the river. And for wine tasting, the options abound. Our studio boasts a full kitchen and laundry. There is a dining table, queen bed, couch, leather chair and ottoman and a small desk area. Our apartment is attached to our home, so we are close if you need anything and with the private driveway and entrance, you will have all the privacy you desire.

Located in the heart of the Willamette Valley wine country the 1100 SqFt private unit provides a unique opportunity to experience the north west. We are at the center of a hub with equal access to Hillsboro, Sherwood, Newberg and Beaverton for all of the night life and restaurants while being within a few miles of 100+ wineries. We also offer a wood fired pizza making experience (see below for details). All of this while experiencing rural Oregon. We are on 6 acres with only a few neighbors.

Enjoy our little slice of hobby farm heaven nestled among the old-growth forest along Chehalem Creek. You'll experience the beauty of nature, the antics of our goats, chickens, rabbits, geese, ducks, and quail, and the charm of downtown Newberg. Our secluded neighborhood offers the perfect area for walking, running, or bike riding, and the wineries of Dundee are so close! Be warned that we live on the edge of the forest. Owls, deer, raccoons, squirrels, possums, and foxes frequent our yard.

Darby House, wine country escape

Enjoy a peaceful wine country escape in a modern, comfortable home. It's the perfect place to relax between your adventures. Our home is centrally located within a mile of downtown Newberg near its restaurants and bars. You'll be a 5 to 20 minute drive to the multitude of beautiful wineries Oregon has to offer. If you're into water sports, we're less than a mile to Rodgers Landing park on the Willamette River. At the end of your day, enjoy wine on the patio with a fire pit and cafe lights.

Comfortable, well lit upstairs apartment over our home. Currently we have 2 bedrooms available, plus a full bath with corner shower, sitting area, dining table, microwave, small fridge. Windows look out onto a quiet neighborhood, backyard and gardens. Located near the heart of Newberg's rich downtown district, close to parks, coffee shops, beer and wine tasting, farm to table restaurants, antique stores, movie theater, grocery store and Cultural Center. We are within walking distance to a grocery store, pubs, small restaurants, and the Saturday Cedar Mill Farmers Market. Close by is the entrance to Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks, with 80 miles of trails.
