Ons huisje staat in één van de mooiste Waterlandse dorpen, Broek in Waterland. Het bevindt zich in een prachtige omgeving, op 8 km van Amsterdam. Op 3 minuten lopen afstand vind je de bushalte, waardoor je binnen 12 minuten op Amsterdam Centraal staat. Het gastenverblijf zelf biedt alles wat je tijdens een vakantie nodig hebt. In ons gastenverblijf is het dus heerlijk 'thuiskomen' na bijvoorbeeld een drukke dag in de stad, of bijvoorbeeld een fietstocht langs alle leuke dorpjes hier in de buurt.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located characteristic place. You are in the countryside, in a rural area. You can walk to the lake (Markermeer) and have a swim. There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

From here: visit most of the Netherlands within 2 hours drive. Perfect for a family with one or two children. You will be renting the whole house, with garden. Bathtub in a fully niew bathroom ! Fireplace NOT in use.

Windmill close to Amsterdam!!

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Enjoy our unique accommodation in a beautiful location with a fantastic view. You can enjoy the peace, the water and the view here. Our floating chalet has a lot of glassware so that you retain the unobstructed view. You are close to Amsterdam, Volendam and Monnickendam. Enough activity in the area, so that you can decide for yourself whether you want to enjoy the peace and quiet or seek out the hustle and bustle. There is a terrace and a floating balcony. There is also parking at the chalet.

Bijzondere winkeltjes op loopafstand. En niet te vergeten het culinaire aanbod ook van de omliggende plaatsen zoals Volendam, Monnickendam en een pannekoek in Broek. Cultureel uitstapje Amsterdam ? A direct bus connection brings you 24/7 at a high frequency to the Amsterdam Central station in 30 minutes to vist the town till late. Bicycles for rent available at the house, for a trip trough the country side of Holland. Visit the old fishermans villages Volendam and Marken. At the end of the day return to Edam and enjoy the local restaurants and your appartement

Charming fisherman's cottage

In the oldest part of the famous fishing village Volendam, you’ll find this charming cottage. The oldest part was built in 1890. The 19th century styled living room gives a cozy (or as the Dutch say "gezellig") feel to your stay. There is WIFI in the cottage. The cottage is ideal for two people, but there is ample space for a third person (adult or 2 children when max. age of 6), to sleep in a typically Dutch 'bedstee' on the ground floor.
