If you book in November, there is a possibility that if it gets cold, you will not have a hot outdoor shower and will use water from a 5 gallon ceramic container for drinking and cooking.

The Barn

I call my place "The Barn" because as I was finishing it it took the shape and feel of a barn. It's not a barn. It's a quiet post and beam open concept building (a Jamaica Cottages kit) set among the fields of Appleton, Maine. You'll sleep in the loft or on a futon on the main floor. The bathroom is huge, 10X10, with a heated floor. It's an open concept kitchen and living space. From Appleton you are 20 miles away from the tourist destinations of Camden, Rockland, and Belfast.

Little Apple Cabin is a private tiny cabin on five wooded acres, created for guests who want quiet, space, and deep rest. Surrounded by trees and farmland, it’s a simple, intentional place to slow down, sleep well, and enjoy Maine without crowds or noise. Camden and Rockland are about 25 minutes away, and Belfast is about 30 minutes.

Get away and enjoy this stylish and centrally located apartment with private entrance. Although within walking distance from downtown Camden and Laite Beach, the location is peaceful, quiet, and wooded. The outside space is wonderful for relaxing, sitting by the fire pit, and even bird watching! It features a designated work space, king sized bed, full kitchen and bath, washer and dryer, heat and a/c, wifi, and a 55" tv with steaming channels.
