Take a stroll to the river, or up the driveway to see the animals. Enjoy your coffee at the fire ring while you take in the mountain views or sit inside. There is a kitchen area, with basic dishes and pans for cooking, with a stove inside that converts to a heater and a small sink. The 1/2 bath is the outhouse located near by.

Outdoor activities are available throughout the area: ample hiking trails, kayaking excursions, fishing, Lake Moomaw, the infamous natural, warm spring waters bubbling from the earth, etc.!

Our home has recently been completely remodeled and furnished to accommodate 8 people, with four bedrooms and two baths.

This is the perfect basecamp for enjoying the many recreational activities in the area: fishing, golf, horseback riding, hiking, kayaking and more. Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
