Spectacular Mountain Retreat

Cottage is the guest house of our country home. Situated on a mountain with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge and access to many hiking trails; biking; fishing and swimming in private pond only steps from the door. Cottage is located within easy driving distance of multiple wineries, Sky Line Drive and Shenandoah National Park; Montpelier; and restaurants and shops. We can accommodate no more than one dog, with prior permission. In April 2023, we again upgraded our internet (see below).

1 Bedroom Apartment With a Kitchenette on 28 Acres

Unique one bedroom apartment available for short or long term stays! Enjoy use of the kitchenette with microwave, air fryer, mini fridge, 2 burner hotplate, coffee maker, and dishes and cookware. Bedroom and living room combo space is sure to please with quaint built in bookcase and sloped ceilings - the perfect room to curl up and read or watch TV! Peaceful Secluded Old Rag Retreat

The spacious one bedroom yurt is located high on a forested hillside in the middle of 15+ acres. Come enjoy a natural and serene getaway with all the comforts of home- a full kitchen (ie, all utensils, setting for four), a bathroom with shower and laundry, a queen bedroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room by the wood burning stove. The windows roll up from the outside and have permanent screens inside. There is also a BBQ grill, a separate firepit, and WiFi via satellite.

Park, Culpeper & Orange, w/ shopping, restaurants, breweries, hiking, antiquing, site seeing & more. Dogs allowed- $30 fee.
