It sounds cheesy, but it's actually a really fun ride down the river. My kids loved it when they played music from the horn. They'll give your kids a tour of the captain's area too, if you ask. There's also a great family-friendly lounge area/bar for snacks, taking a rest, and playing some games.

looking on to Chattanooga in a different perspective. they have southern meals on board. it could be pricy. check out if it's within your budget.
