Walking, learning Texas & local history and enjoying beautiful scenery are only three of the perks of this hidden gem. For a small entry fee you can spend an hour or an afternoon or a day relaxing on this bluff. Pack a lunch and put on good walking shoes for a real treat.

Fantastic place to walk with some spectacular views. See the tomb of the men that died during the Dawson Massacre of September 1842 and the ill-fated Mier expedition of November 1842, also known as the “black bean” incident. Also check out the ruins of the Kreische Brewery
