Great place to do shopping and buy fresh products. It is a very popular place and can be busy on Saturday. Good to sample local cheese and homemade black podding. We love the cheese and onion pie from Katsoursis! There are plenty of cafes serving full English breakfast

A great place to visit if you are on the lookout for good quality meat and fish. The open air market also includes extensive stalls outside, selling fruit, flowers, clothing, hardware and groceries. Also includes a brand new shopping complex which has everything from fashion to dining. Easiest way to get there is via the metrolink from Victoria station or Shudehill.
