One of our favorite places to go in any season! Fall is spectacular for leaf-turning, but we enjoy year round hiking and snowshoeing, and even a leisurely scenic drive!

This place has been respite for those who love getting out but can’t get all the way up to Itasca State Park. Beautiful trails to walk, clean picnic areas, wildlife sighting opportunities, and gorgeous colors of it you come in the Fall. The drive to Maplewood alone is a treat :)

Maplewood is a beautiful state park with plenty to do all year round. Snowshoeing, skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. In the summer there is even more to do (horse riding, kayaking, fishing, geocaching, etc). Our favorite time to visit? Fall time, when all of the maples have turned!
