My colleague introduced me to this takeaway window in the 1st arrondissement. It’s near many offices, so people who work close by come in for healthy food prepared slowly—to be eaten fast. It is incredible how they plate the meals—even when they’re to-go—with beautiful edible flowers and sauces drizzled like paint! The owner, Angèle Ferreux-Maeght, is popular among the fashion set and has catered many chic events. She comes from a well-known family of art dealers and publishers, and before opening this small canteen, she published a cookbook called “Deliciously Green.”
