On this site in 1895, William F. (“Buffalo Bill”) Cody laid out the original town site of Cody, Wyoming. Today, there is a unique collection of structures and artifacts that depict an old west town. The gift shop carries many unique souvenirs and historical books.

Authentic cabins brought in to make-up what was the site originally chosen for Cody. Many collections of artifacts decorate and are displaced throughout the town. Jerimiah Johnson is buried here.
