At the head of Westport (the small village considered the beginning of the East branch of the river), this tiny country store has basic groceries, candy, an ice cream stand, and homemade donuts Fri/Sat/Sun.

This is a great spot for pastries and donuts if you can get there early enough! Across from the Osprey Kayak rental store at the Head of Westport, they have excellent penny candy and ice cream too!
