Moore Street is the other heart of Dublin. This is the grittier face of Dublin's north side. Seafood/fruit sellers shout from behind baby prams/strollers. A uniquely Dublin experience.

Do visit Moore Street and try to buy some fruit from the locals ! They're under pressure due to the advancement of big supermarkets like Tesco and Lidl. This street was also the closing place for the 1916 rising.

Old style market street with market sellers selling fruit and vegetables etc from stalls. Historical area.

Dublin's Oldest Food Market. Tops in Pops (see guidebook under groceries) does better fruit and veg, but lovely flower market, plus growing number of ethnic shops.
