Solar do Unhão makes it for one of the greatest museums of Salvador. It has a scenic view from the sea. You should make the time to appreciate the sunset from there. Additionally, it holds modern art expositions inside the historical rooms. Nonetheless, jam sessions take place on Saturdays.

Tourist attraction. In the same place an important museum and a pier. On saturdays there is a Jazz Band. I recomend to arrive there 5pm for the sunset view. Check to be sure it will be opened.

The Solar do Unhão is part of an architectural complex on the edge of Salvador that organizes jazz performances, has a restaurant with great views and always has a different artistic exhibition in its rooms. Next door, in the same complex, stands the Museum of Modern Art, with outdoor exhibitions. The place has a cozy cafe with a beautiful view of the sea; On Saturdays, from 6pm onwards, Live Jazz music take place at MAM. Highly recommended!
