Roughly midway between Sarasota and Venice Island, this area is home to one of the Marie Selby botanical gardens, and it also has a historical Indian burial mound dating back to 400 AD! It’s a super cool historical place and a fun place to spend a morning or afternoon when the weather is lovely!

Come to historical Spanish point and learn how the Spanish culture put its footprint on Florida. Lovely walking tours and picturesque views of a beautiful and historical area. :-)
