One of the best in Portland but also the hardest to find. Named for Charles Mingus and his upright bass, they brew Belgian style beers in a basement near the Moda center. Recommend whatever their seasonal beers are.

Voted #2 Brewery in PDX. Barrel aged and Wild Ales. On the way to Moda Center. A must visit for beer lovers of barrel aged goodness with some funk.

Saisons, sours, and all things barrel aged! Strange hours make up for an even stranger atmosphere at this inner NE Portland brewery. Located in the basement of a building. You’ll sip your peach sour right next to the barrel it was fermented in. Just don’t slip up and call it Uptight Brewing.
