Has the best overlook in the State, Many overlooks in park and on Scenic Highway 52 that leads to park. Fernwood is located on Scenic Highway 52.

Over 60 miles of recreational trails and majestic overlooks. A hikers paradise. Be sure to hike to the ancient rock wall, which stands on the highest point of the mountain. The mysterious 855-foot-long wall is thought to have been built by early Indians as fortification against more hostile Indians or for ancient ceremonies. This park also has a picnic area, children's playground and lakeside beach.
