The city is packed with amazing venues to catch live jazz -- among them, Jazz Standard, Arthur’s Tavern, and the Metropolitan Room. But the one you absolutely need to take your guests to is The Django. Nestled into Tribeca’s Roxy Hotel, its vaulted ceilings, vintage lighting, and excellent craft cocktails make for an experience that feels very old New York.

Book tickets and also get there 15 minutes early because then you'll get a better table. You order dinner right away, eat, and enjoy a 45-minute show. Good barbecue. It's a bit more of an expensive outing, but fun. (The Blue Note is similar and also famous but I've heard that the food and atmosphere are not good anymore).

One of NYC’s largest jazz clubs, featuring new & established musicians plus BBQ from Danny Meyer.

This is my favorite jazz club in NYC. As well as its world class jazz performances, this club is famous for its great barbecue dinner. The atmosphere is cool & friendly. Just 1 block from the apt!!
