The Napoleon House is just a short walk to downtown Baton Rouge. There are many restaurants, bars, grocery store, museums, U.S. Kidd and shops. On Saturdays in the parking lot of St. Joseph Cathedral there is a open market with fresh fruits, vegetables, home cooked food and crafts and art from local artist. Historical Huey P Long was shot in the state Capitolthe bullet is in the wall ,also history of a shooting to the top of the Capitol beautiful view overlooking the city.
