Its about an hour drive or more, put you can tour Texas's largest ranch and see all the wildlife and hear the history. Great gift shop. Well worth the drive.

The noted King Ranch offers tours and special events throughout the year. The Ranch hand Breakfast in November features a campground setting with campsite breakfast food. Ranch Tours, Nature Tours for birders, and special interest tours are offered on a daily basis.
