There are plenty of spots where you can rent a boat. At Kübis they have fair prices i think. 10€/hour and 5 for the next 30 minutes (altogether - if you rent a boat for 2).

Bei gutem Wetter sollte man auf jeden Fall ein paar Stunden einplanen, um mit Kanu oder Tretboot vom Wasser aus Hamburg zu erkunden! Sehr netter Service, gute Boote - gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Beim Bootsverleih direkt in der Nähe kann man Kanus für eine Paddeltour durch die Kanäle oder auf der Alster ausleihen - absolut empfehlenswert!
